Midsummer Conference
“Here I am, Send me!”
June 19-22, 2025
Iso Kirja, Keuruu
WELCOME TO THE MID-SUMMER CONFERENCE - THE HIGH LIGHT OF THE SUMMER SINCE 1945
The 2025 Summer Conference is a special event. We will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the conference. Ever since it began after the war in 1945 in Tampere, it has grown to be a vital and powerful event that gathers today more than 20 000 people from small children to grand-parents. This year we want to emphasize the cross-generational nature of the event also in the prdoduction of different meetings. The “Konffa” is for all of us!
Besides the anniversary year, the conference is special this year because it is closely connected wit the Pentecosta World Conference which will be held in Helsinki during the Pentecost week in the Helsinki Ice Hall. In other words, to Helsinki for the Pentecost, to Keuruu for the mid-summer. We are part of the international Pentecostal-Charismatic movement which counts over 600 million people.
Both conferences carry a strong missionary theme. The English-speaking World Conference has as its theme the words of Jesus from the Great Commission: “Go & Make”. The theme of the Mid-Summer Conference arises from the vision of the prophet Isaiah: “Here I am, send me.” The missional character of the conference theme is also seen in the visual art of the event.
Both conferences are also strongly characterized by a strong spiritual movement going on especially among the youth - The Send. We believe that there is a change happening in the spiritual atmosphere of our country.
Maybe the current world situation with its uncertainties also explains why especially young people are interested in spiritual matters and Jesus. As a conference we want to be part of this positive change. Actually, for the first time in this millenium we organize a baptismal service by the lakeside of the conference venue. Those who have not yet taken this step in their Christian walk may sign up for baptism on the conference web page (link to be announced later).
The main program of the conference will be published in March. Please follow the pages.
It is a joy to also welcome all of our foreign visitors and immigrants to our conference. Translation services are provided in the main tent (Juhlateltta) in many languages. Further, in the Teemateltta international services are held each day at 1pm.
If you are interested in volontary work during the conference, please check here or contact the conference office.
Welcome to Keuruu for the mid-summer!
